The article talks about the success of green building with Leed certification, the broader worldwide. They are also the most expensive at the time to get them.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">What do you think about this? Is it really sustainable?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It is clear that these buildings are energy efficient, as to qualify for green certification, energy consumption is greatly reduced, but the investment to get them are huge. These green certifications are available to business groups and large investors .<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">There are <strong>efficient buildings<\/strong> with low energy consumption, but do not have these certifications because they are not available to everyone and increase the prices of buildings.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The most interesting thing would be some certifications to everyone that allowed knowing the characteristics of the buildings , so that the buyer really know what you are buying . The only thing that value certifications are energy consumption of the building in hot water and air conditioning and insulation. That is a lot. But do not value the quality of materials used in construction, its origin, its carbon footprint , the influence on the health of the people who live in them or the relationship with the environment of the building.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">What is the <strong>ec\u00f3metro<\/strong> ?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The <strong>ec\u00f3metro<\/strong> is a free certification tool that allows us to assess the relationship between health and building occupancy. Health at all levels : the health of the Earth, and to the health of ecosystems and the health of humans.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The <strong>ec\u00f3metro<\/strong> measures the relationship with the environment, bioconstruction, the bioclimatism , water management and renewable energy .<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">You can find more information on the following
